Early Stages (3-5 yrs)

 

Early Stages Theatre

Mondays 3PM - 3:45PM

Our Early Stages Theatre class is designed to spark young imaginations and build the foundation for confident, creative expression. By the end of the course, children will develop improved communication skills, enhanced creativity, and a newfound love for storytelling, fostering their self-assurance and ability to collaborate in a theatrical setting.

 
 

Stage I (6-8 yrs)

This introductory acting course empowers young students to learn the essential elements of acting. Upon completing the course, students will have experience engaging with scene partners, creating characters, speaking confidently in public, and using basic staging terms equipping them with the practical skills and self-assuredness to begin their performances in the world of theater and beyond.

Dance I

Fridays 4PM - 5PM

Dive into the magical world of dance with our introductory class designed for young performers. Learn fundamental movements, musicality and expression, and team building. Build confidence and essential skills to sparkle on stage!

Musical Theatre I

Fridays 5PM - 6PM

Young performers in this combination class will embark on an exciting journey, gaining knowledge in the three fundamental pillars of musical theatre: acting, singing, and dancing! By the end of the session, students will be able to present a medley of musical theatre pieces, refining their skills in solo singing, dance terminology, and embracing essential staging terms, all culminating in a memorable ensemble performance that celebrates their artistic growth.

 
 

Stage II (9-12 yrs)

 

Acting II

Fridays 5PM - 6PM

In this course, students will start developing the foundational technique necessary to authentically and dynamically bring scenes to life through the introduction of text analysis, expressive movement, and effective speech delivery. Participants will collaborate more effectively with scene partners, learn to make bold choices, learn to score monologues, and begin delving deeper into scene study concepts like action and tactic.

Dance II

Tuesdays 6PM - 7PM

Unlock the world of tap and musical theatre jazz in this multi-level class. Each session hones in on a specific discipline, allowing students to build a strong foundation in Musical Theatre Dance. By the end of the course, participants will have a strong grasp on tap and jazz technique and terminology, equipping themselves with the skills and confidence needed to take the stage. Please ensure your child is equipped with tap shoes and jazz shoes or comfortable sneakers for this class.

Musical Theatre II

Tuesdays 5PM - 6PM

In this class, young performers will embark on an enriching journey through the three fundamental pillars of musical theatre: acting, singing, and dancing. Throughout the course, students will collaboratively prepare and present a fully staged medley of musical theatre pieces, fostering their ability to deliver compelling solos, harmonize with others,  gain a solid foundation in musical theatre dance, and become fluent in essential staging terms. This experience will not only elevate their understanding of the art but also equip them with the practical skills and confidence to shine on stage as a part of a cohesive ensemble.

 
 

Stage III (13+ yrs)

 

Acting III

Wednesdays 6PM - 7PM 

In this course, students will embark on a journey to elevate their craft. This course challenges them to navigate intricate character development, dissect scripts with precision and intention, and strengthen their audition technique. Through the course, they'll cultivate the art of selecting monologues that align with their unique strengths, delve deeper into the art of script annotation and text analysis, and embrace the subtleties of action and tactic.

Dance III

Wednesdays 5PM - 6PM

Delve into our musical theatre dance class, meticulously designed to prepare students thoroughly for auditions and productions. Each session focuses on specific disciplines, ensuring students develop a strong foundation in Musical Theatre Dance. Throughout the course, students will cultivate techniques in tap and jazz, refine their rhythm and coordination, and will be able to leave the course ready to tackle a professional dance call. For this course, please come equipped with tap shoes and jazz shoes or comfortable sneakers.

Musical Theatre III

Mondays 5PM - 6PM

Dive deep into the world of musical theatre with our engaging multi-level workshop. Actors will explore the art of self-taping auditions, craft their own bios and resumes, and discover standout audition pieces. This class will give a solid foundation in scene-study, harmonies and choreography all while preparing for a special showcase at the end of the session to celebrate their unique talents and progress.

An adult musical dance class for fun and fitness! Learn the fundamentals of musical theatre dance in a relaxed and enriching environment.

Advanced dance

Thursdays 9AM - 10AM

A fast paced and fun dance class for actors to brush up on their technique. This class is two times a week, focusing on ballet and jazz with a focus on musical theatre. Bring your jazz shoes and join us for this combination based class for professional actors of all levels. 

RAD ITP BALLET

Tuesdays 5PM - 7PM

With a curriculum created by the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), a world leader in dance education and training, this class strengthens creativity, musicality and technique through ballet for students of all abilities.

 

PRIVATE lessons

The Conservatory offers private lessons in all musical theatre disciplines year-round. Private lessons are a structured, personalized, and engaging way to perfect your craft and are offered to students of all ages. Lessons may be scheduled regularly for an entire session, or for only a short period (such as for audition preparation). We will work with you to determine your experience level and needs, and will match you with the instructor who is the best fit for you.
